About Us

Croston Parish Council meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month (except August) at 7.30pm in the main halll at Croston Old School.

The next meeting of the Parish Council on Wednesday 13 October at 7.30pm in the hall at Croston Old School.

Lancashire Best Kept Village Competition

The results of this year's competition have now been published and Croston was placed 8th in the Champion village section.

Results from entries in other sections were as follows:

Places of worship: St Michael's Church - 7th Place

Public Buildings: Croston Old School - joint 3rd place

Children's play areas: Recreation Park - highly Commended 2nd Place.

The Results of the RHS Northwest in Bloom competition will be announced later this month but Croston in Bloom's project on the Out Lane car park has received an Achievement Award in the RHS Britain in Bloom 'Nourishing Your Community' section
