Lancashire Best Kept Village Competition
The results of this year's competition have now been published and Croston was placed 8th in the Champion village section.
Results from entries in other sections were as follows:
Places of worship: St Michael's Church - 7th Place
Public Buildings: Croston Old School - joint 3rd place
Children's play areas: Recreation Park - highly Commended 2nd Place.
The Results of the RHS Northwest in Bloom competition will be announced later this month but Croston in Bloom's project on the Out Lane car park has received an Achievement Award in the RHS Britain in Bloom 'Nourishing Your Community' section
